Kurogane followed suit and washed himself up. “Do you think you might want to talk to Suoh again?”

“No.” He said quickly and firmly. “It’s clear that he wants nothing to do with me and I want nothing to do with him. He has that girl and I have you. There’s nothing more to be said or done. I need to focus on my studies anyways.”

“Right.” He nodded and continued to bathe. “How’s that been going anyway?”

“Well it’s only been two days but Uriel was impressed that I could read the books so quickly and retain the information. He said usually converts get headaches when they read too much of the holy words but I’ve been just fine.” He shrugged. “How are you doing?”
